About Me
Growing up, I was always curious about the world. So the moment I could, I left Singapore & went to college in Hawaii for only a year because I was too young to appreciate it & I was also missing the city life. My next stop was Chicago because I fell in love with the architecture & decided that I would live there. The day after my final exams in Chicago, I moved to New York City to be part of the opening team for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Battery Park. It was in New York City that I started my yoga practice and fell in love with it. The practice of yoga helped me cope with stress and life in general. Yoga gave me my voice back and the courage to be a stand for my passion and for Me. So after spending close to a decade in New York City, I left my cushy life and broke off an engagement, traveled the world, and went to yoga teacher training in India. It was scary as hell to walk away from my whole life, but I knew I had to trust the little voice in my heart.
I have been teaching yoga since 2008 and I have been very blessed to lead many workshops, retreats and teacher trainings over the years. My first love is always Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga created by my beloved teacher- Baron Baptiste. I am the teacher and the person I am today because of Baron and for that, I am eternally grateful. I do not believe that everyone should eat & breathe yoga their whole lives, but I do believe that it is nice to have yoga in our lives. I am not interested to teach you how to do fancy poses (that may be a by-product of the practice), but to help you destress and feel good about yourself. I also want to give you tools & show you the different facets of yoga so that you can choose for yourself what works best for you. So give me a shout and let's get on this journey together!
